Zest Deli in Nelson had a beautiful deli case filled with fabulous lunch choices.  We were impressed by their many gluten free options.  Apparently there are many New Zealanders who have celiac disease (can't digest wheat), so most menus have gluten free choices.

Here's our lunch...gluten free vegetable quiches...

Kumara (pumpkin) and carrot, gluten free fritters with quinoa salad...

Dinner at The Honest Lawyer...Salmon and Lamb -

Dinner at Lamboretta...First see the fuzzy Pods on the Lamboretta, then see what they ate for dinner.

Vegetarian Antipasto Plate

Greek Salad for Epod, Scooten Tooten Chicken for Mpod, and Pizza for Geoff...

Geoff ordered the pizza...

Here's Mindy Pod with her new favorite, Deutz Champagne...

Here's what Mindy had for her Birthday dinner...

Irish Oysters...(with bacon)

Grilled Crayfish...

Lots of other great ethnic choices too here in Nelson.  Malaysian, Indian, Japanese and Thai.  "To Go" food is known as "Takeaway".

Oh my dog. Did I tell you that you inspired me to go wheat-free? I haven't had a drop of wheat since we saw you. I am so much healthier! Thank you for all your inspiration.
